We often get letters from our students' parents letting us know how we've impacted their child's life as a direct result of reading therapy sessions at our clinic. Please take a moment to read what some of our parents have written.
After years of frustration with my son's reading, I finally found something that worked for him! Within weeks of attending the Brandon Reading Clinic, I noticed a tremendous improvement in his reading fluency. A boy who had struggled with each and every word was reading smoothly and with feeling. Best of all, he loved going to his sessions. He enjoyed his time with his therapist and walked out of each class with his head held a little higher. Brandon Reading Clinic has made a huge impact on my son's life. We were actually both a little sad to see his time there end, but he is now reading above grade level and he even enjoys reading for pleasure. He has not just learned to read, but he is now reading to learn. None of that would have been possible without the caring and talented therapists at the Brandon Reading Clinic.—Tebbi P., Parent
Hi Dawn, I wanted to share some news with you.
Tonight, Alex is going to graduate from Georgia State with a degree in Business Administration. We could not be more proud of him. When he and I were talking last week – both of us amazed that this day had finally arrived – he talked about you. The self-confidence you gave him to conquer his reading issues and move on and the determination to get through all of this. We can’t thank you enough! Dawn, you were a true inspiration to Alex. I truly believe that he would not be the man he is today without your support. Thank You.

We would like to thank you and your excellent staff for all of the help and support you have given to Zoe. Her reading skills have improved more than we could have imagined. We would highly recommend your services to anyone we know. Thank You again for everything. —Kimberly G., Parent
Once again I feel I should take this opportunity to thank Elizabeth, Donna and Barbara for their input on Nathen's achievements in life. We really see the difference, and not only us, but people (not just one but I can tell of four different individuals) who came to me just this summer that asked what has happened to Nathen???? he seems like another boy. I want you to know I credited you each time and the fact that you have helped him achieve the beginning of a new life. One where he could hold his head up straighter knowing he has self worth, and when continuing focusing on goals he can improve himself and go farther in life than he could have ever imagined a year ago. That makes YOU worth every penny YOU cost us! That was the part we worried about so much in the beginning, whether we could afford it or not. We realized nothing ventured...nothing gained...and were ready to quit anytime progress stopped. And I want to say...one of my greatest appreciations is that you were kind enough, and honest enough, to not abuse us in any way in that manner. You told us, that you were completed with the progress you could give, and didn't make us have to question at anytime if you were "someone out there just trying to make money for yourselves" but you were truly an honest establishment trying to accomplish a means to the END of a task. I cannot say thank you enough for that. You are a refreshing rarity these days. I hope many others can benefit, as our family has, by your hard work.
One more plus that needs being mentioned in re-evaluating our experience is I really appreciate that you used wisdom in your approaches to Nathen by changing teachers every so often, giving him the challenge of "real life" stretching his horizons of "relating" to different personalities, working to please each teacher, with that search for approval. And then of course when he "clicked" with Miss Elizabeth, progress happened more easily for him. You have done a great job in my "BOOK".—Kathy K., Parent
